This is a great recipe to give shrimp just the right flavor. Very, very good.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 20 uncooked jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined OR use precooked, peeled,
  • deveined shrimp*
  • 1 Tablespoon green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 Tablespoons butter

Directions

  1. In a large cast iron skillet over high heat, add oil and cook shrimp until just done, turning pink. Remove shrimp and set aside. (*If shrimp is precooked, wait and add shrimp at the end of the recipe.)
  2. Add green onions and cook 1 minute. Add wine and reduce by half.
  3. When reduced, add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, cayenne pepper and paprika. Cook 1 minute. Reduce heat to low.
  4. Add butter and melt. Add shrimp to pan; toss well to coat and heat through.
